
This is some candy or "dessert" available at one of the Chinatown banh mi shops. I love the color. I must find out what it tastes like - or, does anyone already know?? I like to think of it as Grass-flavored Candy. But who can say.

ReplyDeleteSo their coconut flavored? Or mung bean and taro and coconut. Sounds like they're out of my jurisdiction, being all sugary. But I sure enjoy the color. Apparently the green is traditionally made with pandan leaf - which is a very tasty leaf, in my experience. A little like hazelnuts. YUM.
